Graham Smith
ATTORNEY
Hailing from Virginia, Graham joined Campbell Teague after football gave way to entrepreneurship. He competed at Hampden-Sydney and for Team USA before launching and building his own businesses. The competitive edge he developed as a quarterback fueled ventures in real estate investment, medical device manufacturing, cybersecurity, collegiate Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL), and sports media. This entrepreneurial experience paved the way for a career in corporate law, where a founder’s mentality helps clients anticipate issues before they arise. True to his sports days, Graham’s approach to law is to read the field, call the play, and execute the plan.
Graham is also globally minded, with personal and professional ties spanning from Europe to East Asia. He has sold into foreign supply chains in Asia, studied EU business law in Austria, and worked in digital asset regulation and governance in Croatia. Moreover, his wife is from Slovakia, so Central Europe is not just a talking point; it is a second home. Having now spent several years abroad, Graham meets the work where it is with tenacity, determination, and, always, Southern charm.
Away from work, Graham enjoys spending his time with family. Together, they travel, work out, ski, fish, garden, and watch lots of football. He is also a firm believer in Emperor Charlemagne’s quote, “To have a second language is to possess a second soul.”

“Whether I’m in the huddle, building a business, or advising a client, I approach the challenge the same way: prepare thoroughly, stay focused, and execute.”
