We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Coordinator to support our Project Managers and Operations Team and ensure the smooth execution of legal matters and projects. This role combines traditional secretary responsibilities with project coordination duties, making it ideal for someone who excels in administrative tasks while contributing to overall project success. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for client intake, office admin duties, and providing essential support to the project team. 

 Key Responsibilities: 

  • Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to Project Managers and the Operations team, including managing calendars, answering phones, and preparing reports and documentation as needed. 
  • Communication: Act as a liaison between Project Managers and clients. Handle incoming and outgoing communications, ensuring timely and accurate responses. 
  • Administrative Tasks: Handle routine office tasks such as mail filing, data entry, vendor relations, and managing office supplies. Support the team with logistical arrangements for project-related events. 
  • Problem-Solving: Address any administrative or coordination issues that arise, providing solutions and escalating concerns as needed. 

Qualifications: 

  • Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred. 
  • Experience: This is an entry-level position. Experience in an administrative or coordination role preferred.  

Skills: 

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.

Senior Project Manager or Senior Paralegal

FULL TIME, GREENVILLE HQ

We are seeking a candidate with 5+ years of legal or paralegal experience to fill the role of Senior Project Manager or Senior Paralegal. This candidate should be able to immediately step into a leadership role amongst the current team and be able to show excellence in legal drafting, deadline management, client billing, court filing, and legal research. The ideal candidate will have both litigation and corporate experience.  

 Key Responsibilities: 

  • Case Management and Support:
    • Manage and organize case files using the legal software Clio Manage. 
    • Assist in the preparation of legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests, operating agreements, and contracts. 
    • Coordinate and communicate with clients, experts, and opposing counsel. 
    • Regularly update clients on case progress. 
    • Ensure the timely filing of documents with courts, regulatory agencies, and other parties. 
  • Legal Research and Drafting:
    • Conduct legal research to support case preparation, including reviewing statutes, regulations, case law, and legal literature. 
    • Draft legal memoranda, summaries, and reports based on research findings. 
    • Prepare summaries of depositions, court transcripts, and other case materials for attorney review. 
  • Litigation and Trial Support:
    • Assist attorneys with pre-trial discovery, including the preparation of interrogatories, document requests, and deposition notices. 
    • Prepare exhibits, trial notebooks, and other materials for trial. 
    • Assist attorneys during trial preparation, providing organizational support and ensuring all materials are ready for presentation. 
  • Mentorship and Training:
    • Mentor and train Project Managers and other legal staff members, providing guidance on best practices and ensuring consistency in legal processes. 
    • Stay up to date on changes in law, legal technology, and best practices to ensure efficient and compliant operations. 

Qualifications: 

  • Experience: 5+ years of legal field work.  

Skills: 

  • Excellent typing skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Nice to have: 
    • Paralegal Certification  
    • Previous management experience 
    • Accounting or finance training 
    • Fluent in Spanish
